These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to the MekryPro web service MekryPro, provided by Mekry Oy (Business ID 3011635-4, address Kissalakuja 7, 21800 Kyrö). By registering, logging in or otherwise using the service you accept these Terms.
1. Description of the service
MekryPro is a cloud-based tool for renovation and construction work. The service may be used by companies, private individuals, employees only, and other users who want to map apartments or manage renovation and construction projects. It supports room mapping, jobsite management, offers, work hours, purchase lists, contract pricing, subcontractor and customer portals, and related workflows.
Features, plans and visibility may vary by user type, subscription and permissions. We develop the service continuously — including an auction or quote-request feature where a private individual can request offers from multiple companies based on their room mapping. Not every described feature may yet be available in all versions or regions.
2. Eligibility and user account
You may use the service if you are of legal age in your own name (private user), on behalf of your employer or company (employee or authorized representative), or with explicit authorization. When using a company account, the administrator must grant team members only the access they need.
You are responsible for activity under your account. When using an organisation account, you are also responsible for your organisation's users to the extent applicable. Keep login credentials (password, passkey, two-factor authentication) confidential.
Notify us without delay if you suspect unauthorized use or a security incident: info@mekrypro.fi.
3. User obligations
You agree to:
- enter accurate and up-to-date information;
- use the service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms;
- comply with applicable law (employment, personal data, competition, tax, etc.);
- ensure you have the right to process and store customer, employee and other personal data in the service;
- not disrupt the service, bypass security or attempt unauthorized access.
We do not verify every input. You and, where applicable, your organisation remain responsible for the quality and lawful use of data you enter.
4. Customer content and data
You retain all rights to data, drawings, offers, documents and other content you enter ("Customer Data"). You grant Mekry Oy a limited right to process Customer Data solely to provide, maintain, support and secure the service and to meet legal obligations.
We may create anonymised or aggregated statistics to improve the service when individuals or specific customers cannot be identified.
You may request deletion of Customer Data when the agreement ends, unless law requires longer retention. Backups may persist for a limited technical period.
5. Calculations, areas, prices and other outputs – important
MekryPro automatically calculates surface areas, quantities, prices, VAT summaries, purchase lists, offer lines, PDF exports and other figures based on your inputs, drawings, measurements, pricing rules and settings.
The service has been developed and tested carefully and we aim to keep calculations correct. However, we do not guarantee that all figures, square metres, prices, quantities, tax rates or other outputs are always fully accurate, up to date or suitable for your specific project.
Your responsibility: Always verify all calculation results yourself before submitting or accepting offers, placing orders, contracting work or making other binding decisions. Check especially drawings, room heights, openings, finishes, contract price lists, VAT settings and manual entries.
Limitation of liability: Mekry Oy and MekryPro are not liable for damages, losses, delays or costs arising from calculated, displayed or exported information — including possible errors in calculations, quantities, pricing or reporting, even though we have exercised reasonable care in testing the service.
Report errors to support (info@mekrypro.fi). Reporting does not remove your verification duty.
6. Subscriptions, payments and trials
Paid plans, add-on modules and prices are shown in the service or subscription view. Payments are processed via the selected payment provider (e.g. card payment); we do not store full card details.
Subscriptions renew according to the chosen billing period unless cancelled as instructed. Prices may change; we will notify you in advance as required by law and contract terms.
Any free trial is for evaluation. After a trial, the subscription may continue automatically if stated at sign-up.
7. Subcontractors, portals, auction and external users
You may invite subcontractors, customers or other external users to the service or portal. As a private user, you may share room mapping data or take part in quote requests and an auction where you can request offers from registered companies. You are responsible for appropriate invitations and access rights.
We are not a party to agreements between you and other users (for example a private individual and a contractor) and are not responsible for their offers, prices, contracts or quality of work. Evaluating offers, choosing a provider and entering into a contract is always the users' responsibility.
8. Support
We provide support by email and in-service channels according to your support plan. We aim to respond within a reasonable time but do not guarantee a specific response time unless agreed separately.
9. Intellectual property
MekryPro software, interface, trademarks, documentation and related materials belong to Mekry Oy or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, revocable right to use the service for the subscription period.
You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, rent or resell the service without written permission, except where mandatory law allows.
10. Availability, maintenance and changes
We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, updates, third-party outages or force majeure may cause downtime.
We may change, add or remove features. Material changes will be announced in advance when reasonable.
11. Term and termination
You may stop using the service and cancel your subscription as instructed. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, payments are overdue, or continuation would create legal or security risk.
After termination, access ends; Customer Data may be deleted or anonymised according to contract terms and law.
12. Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", subject to mandatory law. Mekry Oy is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, lost profit, revenue or data, to the extent permitted by law.
Total liability for claims under these Terms is limited to the greater of: (a) fees paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) one hundred (100) euros — unless mandatory law requires a higher cap.
These limits do not restrict liability for gross negligence or wilful misconduct where law prohibits.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Finnish law, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Disputes shall first be resolved by negotiation. Failing agreement, disputes shall be resolved in the Turku District Court unless mandatory consumer protection or other law requires another forum.
The service is used by both companies and private individuals. Mandatory consumer rights always apply when you act as a consumer.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in the service or by email before they take effect when reasonable. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
